PSAL A PLAYOFFS

For the early years of the PSAL the playoff information I have compiled thru research mainly focuses on the quarterfinals to the finals. Unfortunately there is missing info in some cases.

The 1964 PSAL Championship Game on March 17th, 1964 is the most infamous game in PSAL History. Due to violence and rioting that took place, the PSAL would be banned form MSG for the next 26 years. They would not return until the championship games in 1990. However, the PSAL has never since enjoyed the free reign of holding all their playoff games at the mecca which is MSG. The golden era of 1938 to 1964 came to a shocking end that night!
